Oat Fruit And Fudge Cookies

6oz margarine
4oz caster sugar
1 level dessertspoon golden syrup
4oz cornflakes
2 oz porridge oats

13inch x 9inch swiss roll tin, greased

Melt together the margarine, sugar and syrup in a pan over a low heat, stirring occasionally to blend

Crush the cornflakes in a plastic bag with a rolling pin, then Stir the cornflakes and oats into the melted ingredients

Turn the mixture into the swiss roll tin and spread it to the sides of the tin

Bake at 180 degrees C for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown
